There’s nothing quite like being out on the water in a pleasure craft – poking along slowly in a calm bay or jetting through the white caps on a bright sunny day.
The St. Lawrence Parks has great opportunities for boating from Kingston through to Cornwall. Let’s begin with our own Crysler Park Marina - the area’s premier marina on the St. Lawrence River at Marker 72 – a perfect stopover or long-term stay between Quebec and the 1000 Islands Region – ranked as one of the most beautiful marinas along the St. Lawrence!
Services include transient and seasonal slips (boats up to 120 feet), fuel dock, a well stocked retail store, secure vehicle and trailer parking, an exclusive private beach, hydraulic lift, winter storage and shrink wrapping. You can stay short or long term, gas up and get basic supplies before you head out for the day or weekend.
When you launch either at Ivy Lea in the heart of the 1000 Islands or the Long Sault Parkway near Cornwall, boating opportunities are boundless. We have calm inland waterways protected by islands so canoeing or kayaking conditions are ideal. If you want to load the gang onto a pontoon boat, nothing beats cottage (or summer home!) gazing in the midst of millionaire’s row in the 1000 Islands near the international bridge. The river is always a great boating haven for water skiing or tubing, and the Jet Ski adventurers love jumping the tour boat wakes.
