Improve your kayaking skills and enroll in a 4 lesson kayak program. An Instructor will provide progressive lessons to help you become an effective and competent paddler. Learn all the necessities to explore waters on your own in every circumstance. Learn advanced strokes, safety techniques, paddling routes, multi-day tour preparation, first aid, etc. DATES: June - September COST: $200 (4 lessons) Eskimo Roll Clinic Self - Rescue Technique! Learn how to roll your kayak! Have you always wanted to learn how to roll a kayak? Here's your chance to learn this exciting self-rescue technique. The Eskimo Roll was developed by Northern Native Paddlers to roll quickly and effectively while remaining in their boat. Come enjoy a 3 hour program, and learn this great skill. DATES AND TIMES: 1:30pm to 4:30pm. July 26th, Aug 9th, Aug 16th. COST: $60/person Voyage to the Past Voyageur Canoe! Take a step back in time! Here's your chance to explore Canadian history in a 36 foot fiberglass replica of a Montreal Birch Bark Voyageur Canoe. Your guide will take you back in time to explore the history of the Voyageurs and area. Learn the paddling techniques necessary for teamwork. AVAILABLE TOURS: Tuesdays and Sundays 9:30am, 12:30pm HALF DAY TOUR (4 HRS) FULL DAY WITH UPPER CANADA VILLAGE TOUR (7Hrs) Min. of 13 max of 18 people. COST: Half Day $17/person. Full Day $30 including Upper Canada Village Tour Kayak Touring Kayak to Upper Canada village and the Bird Sanctuary! Explore the waterways by kayak. A Guide will go over basic skills necessary to set out on the open water. Paddle along the majestic St. Lawrence River and enjoy secluded beaches, a healthy shore lunch, and historical tour of Upper Canada Village or nature tour of the Bird Sanctuary. DATES: Day Tours (7Hrs) June - September COST: $80 including equipment, guided tour, and lunch Flatwater Seakayak Tour Learn how to kayak! Come enjoy a paddle! Designed to introduce the inexperienced participant to paddling. Come spend a day at Crysler Park Marina, get a gentle workout and take a tour of the beautiful, natural surroundings. Programs include all kayak equipment, guide and instruction. AVAILABLE TOURS: HALF DAY KAYAK (4Hrs) COST: $45 min. 3 people FULL DAY TOUR Including shore lunch COST: $65 minimum of 3 people Private Kayak Lessons Take your kayaking skills to the next level! Customize your lesson, become a competent paddler and take your skill to the next level. Interested in basic skills, rescue techniques, advanced strokes? Come enjoy a day on the water and refine your technique. Hire an instructor for basic, and advanced skills COST: $35/hr Introduction to Kayaking Pizza and Paddle Interested in learning to kayak? Here's your opportunity! A certified instructor will provide you with the necessary skills and instruction to safely get you on your way to the wonders of flat water kayaking. These introductory sessions include 2.5 hrs of basic instruction, kayak rental, all related equipment plus pizza and drinks to celebrate your newly acquired skills. DATES AND TIMES: 6pm Tuesdays, 10am Saturdays. June to September COST: $35/person
